Episode #6 When Evil Lies In Wait

Episode #6 When Evil Lies In Wait

You can’t just live in the recovery room forever.

Susan Svensk worked a high level corporate job while struggling in her marriage to a long-time alcoholic.  After moving to a small town, she and her husband befriended a lonely neighbor guy and warmly welcomed him into their lives. Many years of friendship later, the neighbor guy drugged and sexually assaulted Susan. With little to no memory of what happened, Susan compartmentalized the trauma until…she started having flashbacks. As the denial began to melt, Susan bravely faced the painful truth she had been avoiding.

Listen to this Hero’s Journey where Susan rediscovers her faith in a whole new way and releases her identity as a victim.
